i need a little advice,i race hondas on dirt,i've been running a 91 integra with a b18a1 with a lot of sucess but the car got wrecked to bad to fix,i've found a 95 civic worth the money with a sohc d16y8,my question is will the y8 run anywhere close to what the b18 and what kind of rpm will it stand, thanks

The y8 has less power and torque, but the civic is lighter.. Should work just as well.

Is this a four door? Coupe? Hatch?

You'll miss the torque, but I would be more concerned about the gearing. The y8 is going to have shorter gears compared to the LS, which could be good or bad, depending on what type of dirt track you race on.. You could be between gears all the time.
