What does it mean 175/70-13?

I know that 13" is the wheel, but what all the other numbers mean?

Do you think this is going to fit?
Now I have 175/70-13
and I want to buy 195/50-15

Goto Les Schwab and on the bottome there is a link to the les schwab tire guide. This should help you out with the numbers.

First # : mm wide your tire
Second # : percent of first #, how tall your sidewall is
Last # : rim size

yea. 195/50/15 would be the right size upgrade if you have 175/70-13's. get the 15x6.5" wheels instead of the 15x7" wheels with that tire size, and you will be stylin B)

i think hes asking if he can put a 195/55/15 on his 13 inch rim. and the answer to that is no, you need a 15 inch rim to put a 15" tire on

Go to Costco and look it up on the MAST fitment guide, which gives you plenty of options for plus sizing and if somethings not on the list, they can use the Bridgestone tire size comparison program to show you how far off your speedometer will be and give you tire height and width differences for whatever size you want to move to.
WE RULE!!!! Then buy tires there because you get all sorts of goodies, like Road hazard warranty included in every price.
