1995lx

I am going to be doing my first swap on a 1995 civic lx with a MT and I plan on putting in a b16a2. I would like to know what ecu I need to get and if I need to get all the wires as well. Or if I can just keep the old wires and just add new ones for the vetc. Also any other info would be great. Thanks :worthy:

in all likelyhood, you will get a P30 ECU with the swap. Use it.

If you do not get an ECU with the swap, you have several options:

1. JDM P30 (misc. Japanese B16 cars - expensive if you have to buy seperately)
2. USDM P30 ECU (94-95 Del Sol Vtec... Rare, expensive)
3. USDM P28, chipped (cheap, plentiful, run the motor like stock)
4. Convert your ECU to a P28, chip it.

I and several others here can help with finding an ECU if you need one. Good luck.

chipped p28 is probably your best bet. Then, get a VAFC and make a trip to the dyno to get rid of the 10:1 air/fuel ratios that 95% of those chips give you
