ok im just about to order the engine from hmotersonline.com

and i was looking at the engines...
B16A 88-91 (SiR I) Motor, Tranny, Computer and that comes with - ECU (PR3, PW0)

and they have the B16A 92-93 Integra (XSi) Complete Change Over (i thought this was odb1) BUT it comes with - ECU (PR3) that ecu
and there saying its 170hp with .2 cr higher
isn't that the b16a2? (odb1)

well i know i should get the PR3 but will the PW0 work in my car

1990 integra with odb0 manual trans (currents has the b18a1)

i checked the hondaswap site
and they say this for the PW0
PW0 0 yes 1989-1991 Honda Civic/CRX SiR (or auto from 90-91 Integra XSi)

and for the PR3 they say PR3 0 yes 1989-1991 Acura Integra XSi/RSi
(the 0 means odb0, and the yes is vtec)

and then when i check the "Swap Articles" it says i need the
"
Here is what you’ll need:

* ECU:
o PR3 (for 90,91 Integra’s)
o P61 (for 92,93 Integra’s)
o OBD1 P72 (for 92,93 Integra’s)
* Custom Air Intake
* VTEC wires

The Swap:"

PW0. will it work...because i don't want to pay for the complete changeover i just want the first option...but it has a randomness in the PW0 and PR3

yes stick with in your obd to save your self a headache

In other words the pr3 or pwo because 88-91 is obd0 unless your car is 92 and and up and you are using your stock harness which in most case is better.

either will work, I have a 91 integra with a B16 using a PR3, and Ive used a PW0 in the past.

alright thanks...

The main difference's between the PR3 and PW0 are Fuel Cutoffs (rev limiter). and the Govenor (PW0 is like 112 or 115, the PR3 is like 120'ish).

Yeah I like the PR3 but the PWO works just fine just might interfere with your qtr mile time.
