I'm confused on all the different engines and sizes available in Honda. I have a 1990 CRX SI. How do I know which engine I have?? Also, please give me the "slang" name of it. Thanks...

On the block, right where the transaxle/transmission bolts to the engine block there is a flat spot with a stamping on it. It may say D15 with a letter after it. It also may say D16 with a letter after it. That is where to locate the exact engine code. As for the "slang", they are pretty much just called single cams.
