What is an Audio code?

    Hey im looking to get a brand new audio system for my 93 civic Del Sol. I know you dont provide codes, im not asking for one. But what exactly is an audio code? am i going to need to know one when i put my new system in my car? Im a noob so im ready to get bashed.

    You won't need a code unless you are trying to put a factory Honda stereo in your car. An aftermarket one will not require you to enter a code.

    some aftermarket radios do have security codes that can be set by the owner... you only need to worry about that with a used radio though... so unless you are buying your stuff from a pawn shop... or some jackass (theif/crackhead) who "got these radios mad cheap y0!" you shouldnt have anything to worry about :)
