What is that???

The other day I saw an EG hatch with a crazy ass suspension setup. It had some bars underneath the back that went across the body. Can't remember how many I saw... Before anyone asks: No, it wasn't a rear lower tie bar... see those all day. This was something else. Looked like something you would see on a track car.
Anyone have any idea what this is? It looked damn sexy!!

I am just going out on a limb and saying it was a swaybar with a tiebar combo.

Naw it wasn't that... They were strait bars, not curved like sway bars. It almost looked like a small upside down roll cage. I wish I had a picture.
