So I built my brother a computer for his bday, to replace his ancient 900mhz HP.
He's not a gamer just a surfer/mp3/im'er,so it's kinda budget:

Asus A7V8X-X (built in ethernet and optical sound, usb2.0,ddr capabilites, 8xagp)
AMD Athlon XP3000+ Barton
512 pc2700
strange Nvidea card I got with a lot of 10 cards
Sony dual layer DVD burner :ph34r:
1 gig test hard drive for now, my bro's gonna have to pick up a hard drive himself , I'm kinda having a thing with the IRS :owned:

anyway I can' t get the inspection stamps off the bottom of the case so im looking to cover them...this amused me but I need a bigger mirror still.

pretty nice, but AGP8x is obsolete :)

i love how someone can have a ricer computer nowadays, lol. my computer is a sleeper. p4 inside with p3 badges y0

If you build your computer right, you shouldn't have enough room in there to add toy motorcycles and crap. I've got too many wires, pumps and water hoses running around to have space for that!

That's not entirely true. You just gotta clean it up a tad. Just like cars, there's a difference between clean and out there.

Granted I don't need watercooling, but with a little thought and a lot of caffeine, you can clean a case up nice.

:withstupid: Even my motherboard had trouble fitting in my case! With 2 CPU's with huge heatsinks on them and 4 hd's, there is VERY little space inside my case.
 
Looks like a Raidmax Case... Good choice on the board though, the K7V8-X is pretty sweet for the cash. Asus makes some of the best motherboards out there.
