what oil pump do i use?

hey u guys i have a 93 acura integra ls b18a1 block with a gsr head and type r cams i just put the motor in and for got to replace the oil pump, so i was wondering if there is a oil pump that i can find for my ls block that is for a v-tech engine

yes, just buy one for gsr. make sure you buy a timing belt for the gsr too.

any obd2 b series oil pump will work fyi, obd2 were the same for non vtec and vtec.

isnt he going to need a water pump for the GSR as well? i thought the GSR water pump and LS water pump had a different number of teeth.

Yea, you'll want a gsr pump, more flow for the vtec.

N yes he'd want a gsr water pump AND belt to match. Don't wanna be chewin um up n jumping the timing

Correct, ob2 oil pump is the same but not the water pump.

If you were to run the non vtec water pump you would get cavitation at higher rpms.
