What sensor is this?

So I was changing my oil today, and while it was draining I went inside for a while. When I went back out, there was a wire with a single plastic whole on one end, and wire on the other end. I think I found the spot to connect the plug, which is right next to the oil filter, but I don't know where the wire goes. I've only driven the car about 5 miles since, and it's acting kind of weird. It ran fine for a while, but then it started idling really high. So what is this thing, and how do I hook it back up? Oh yeah, 92 ls obd0. thanks

Its for your dummy oil light, aka oil pressure sender.

And plug it on the senser

Nope, for idle check you iacv valve on the intake manifold, the one on the back or the one under the TB, as It may need to be cleaned out.
