What Should I Do With $5000

I have a 97 civic ex and i tring to decide what to do. i have about $5k to play with. I am thinking a gsr engine. How much would it cost to buy and have installed? And what about turbocharging it? Any suggestions?

You may be able to swing a B16A siR and boost,but it would be close,even if you got great deals.Look into a 96+ LS motor (around $1800-2000) and build a homemade turbo,or just forget the boost and drop in a GSR and a bunch of bolt ons.

If you look around you can,my swap was about $2200after all was said and done,and I have come across a few turbo kits (used) under $2000.You just have to look around.

I have easily passed the 10k mark with my boosted b16a2. I'm sure you can get a decent setup with the swap (look b16) for 5k, but don't look for much more than all the basic bolt-ons.
