i have a '90 civic hatch std with a D15B1 motor. i want to be able to use as many exsisting parts as possible.
what's a cheap and easy swap? and will i need to complete this swap?
will my stock distributor and pm9 ecu work?
will my 4spd tranny bolt up?
can i use my old motor mounts?
any answers would be most appreciated. thanks.

i'm thinking of going with a D16a6.. seems to be the easiest swap with the least headaches.

a d16a6 is a relatively cheap and easy swap but your going to have to do some mild wiring like puting in a resistor box for the mpfi and all that. if your going to do that you might as well get the whole harness with the resistor box, ecu, distributor just to simplfy your installation

finding an a6 that's in good shape is going to be kind of difficult in itself. you may want to consider just going with a z6 or y8
