Whats the widest tire you can use on a 15x7 rim with 40mm offset? They will be going on a 95 GSR with omnipower suspension. I don't want them to rub anywhere but I'd like the widest tire possible. I'm guessing 215/60-15's will fit just fine? Or will I be able to run 225/60-15's?

215/60's are huge sloppy messes like 44DD tits...

205/50 is standard oversize.

+40 is not a good offset to go much wider that 205...

205/50 or 215/50 (if you can find it). The other sizes you listed are WAY too tall for the GSR.

Nah, maybe a late 90s jellybean Taurus. Those were a little better. Shitty, but still better than the Taurus Robocop drove.

:lmao:

Those tire sizes you listed would slow you down because they would make your final gearing a bit taller, plus the larger diameter would rub in your fender-wells.

I run 205/50's on my 7" wheels and they are fabulous. 215/50 is going to be taller, so your acceleration will take a small hit.
