So after work I wanted to do something to my car. Checked the plugs, they all looked good, cleaned and adjusted the throttle cable. Oh something I haven’t changed yet the fuel filter.

Looks original probably is the 02 was but changed that.

From the filter change I noticed a strong response in revving and a much better idle. It wasn’t too bad before.

The reason for this post is this what the hell goes here anyone?

it could be where you would place a mechanical fuel pump like on the older hondas that are carbed. i would not suggest it though. but that is what it looks like to me.
 
okay for all the n00b's out there, do you see how there are pictures in this thread to better help us answer the question. rather than, "Whats that one thing on the block by that one hose?" !! :thumbsup: SiCrxSi

dude, i totally know what you're talking about. it's the thing next to the wire by the engine, right?

just kiddin. i know, that's a good point for the noob's.
 
it is probably a mounting location used to support the engine during assembly at the factory.
