what this wire for?

I was taking the wires out of my junk gsr body to put in my 95LS, there is a brown wire spliced inot the reb/blu knock sensor wire, i think it also slplices into the secondary o2 sensor wire going to the ecu? anyone seen this before? the body is a 2000 4 dr gsr and the splice looks factory

youre going to have to come a little more specific than that...

most likely its just a general ground wire. i have the diagrams at home... maybe if you ask nicely i'll tell you what it is
