What to get?

I am looking to drop an easy $1K into my 1991 Cr-x I am mostly looking for handling and suspension. I am really undecided at this point and would like tips on what to get for it. I am looking for a set of racing rims, tires, strut tower bars for the front and back, and also intake. Right now I am running an 97 B20B motor with a B16A head fully built so I am wondering about other items to complete this lil guy.

rims- no bigger than 16" get them in the lightest weight material you can find
tires- best traction or best suited to your driving/racing style
strut tower bars- do some research, just make sure they're strong I think the best front struts are 3-point from Tein
intake- get the whale penis so you can say you have a whale penis under the hood

I am looking for 16 inch rims. No bigger no smaller and tires are 225/40-16
