What year did the civic hb get rear disk brakes?

Couple Civic HB questions.

In my search for a stock civic hb si, I forget what year it was when they started to get rear disk brakes.

Also how much weight would a F22B or h23 add to that civic? What would be a better motor the f22b or h23?

if you had a 92 si with rear drums you got hosed, my 92 si has dics stock

you can add disks to almost any civic, either from another civic or via an integra transplant. And usually for $400 or less.

Very good point, Yes, the 91si came with rear disk, So did the 90si, same with the crx models 90-91
So I guess you could day that all Si hatches came with disks since 1990.

90-91 Civic Si did not have disc brakes on the rear - only the 90-91 CRX Si had the discs

The 90 si crx dident have disk brakes, The only one of the era to get disk brakes before 92 was the 91 crx si.

91 si didnt have rear disks..only the jdm version did...and 92-95 si have rear disk brakes
