a 2 car garage that I have to save for and rebuild :(
her old computer to use....
her old desk for the computer...
I lost some money at the casino...
to drink most of her champain..
to drive her where ever she wanted to go.
a mortgage for the next 15-30 years.....


The dog got:

A doggy bed in the shape of a sofa.
a doggy x-mas stocking filled with doggy snacks.
 
^^^ Seeing as how Kaori's dad put up the down payment for that house, Kaori deserves a hella lot of pampering. Try to think more optimistically about life. Having a house to build equity in yourself is a very very good thing. Try to make one extra payment a year to pay it off faster. And even though your new house and garage need work, but it was affordable and something that you could get a loan on. :)


Matt and I just gave each other a weekend of complete peace and quiet, away from the crazyness of our families and shopping malls. Seeing as how we indulge ourselves all year around with dinners and buying car mods... no need to waste money on things that we don't need. And it was exactly a year ago on Christmas Eve that we first starting chatting on AIM. I had found a cheap blown up s2000 engine on ClubSi for sale.... and I thought that he'd like to tinker with it. Anyway the rest is history. :worthy:

Anyway, I got some clothes and some electronic equipment from my parents, Home Depot gift cards (Not that I have a home, but people know my brand of tools is Husky) and my girlfriend got me the handle-twist husky wrench that I wanted, and some Unibits (God's gift to automotive installers)

I got the Clerks DVD (Yeah, I'm old..) and some candy. The older you get, christmas becomes less and less about the gifts and more about other things. And I'm not really talking about time spent with family and friends - I'm talking about vacation days.

Vacation Days are what it's all about !
