what you guys recommend to cut a pipe

    hey guys im trying to take out my universal muffler but it wont come off because the muffler is on the way so i have to cut the pipe , what do you guys recommend i use to cut it fast

    use a hand wood saw - for a couple hours :D

    dude, i'm confused- what's with all these mufflers you've been buying and selling- you keep saying that you've tried them all and don't like the way they sound, yet you don't even know how to take your muffler off?


    -anyway, hacksaw works, or you could use a cutting torch to be badass :thumbsup:

    yeah i was reading about them the other day- they are so incredibly simple, but it's such a cool idea- blowing the arc at the metal, who would have thought it was that easy

    they make metal pipe cutters. they have a handle with a chain and blade. and does this ratcheting thing. they work like a charm

    why would your muffler being on the way prevent you from cutting a universal muffler off?

    i dont know about everyone else but i use a pipe cutter to cut pipe....well, a sawzall i guess...

    dental floss would work too, but i would try paper first. i got a nasty paper cut yesterday, that shit is sharp. should cut it off no prob
