Whats A Zc?

I know what a ZC motor is, but all of them i see are on like ebay or sumthin for 500+ and then 300 shipping... i know they have 130hp, but i was wondering do they come out of a certian type of car... like i heard they come out of an integra, cuz i could get one from a junkyard for bout 200 or so if i can figure out what car they come out of... well thanks

ZC is the engine code attached to the D series family of engine abroad in the mid eighties early ninties.There a a few different ZC's SOHC,DOHC,carburated and fuel injected,and range in HP from 70 to 134.They came in the crx,civic and tegs.The early tegs here in the states had the D16A1,which is in the same family,but stamped D series.

But!!!! The ones out of the tegs here in the states will not bolt into a CRX.

and the a1 integ motors suck...stick with the ZC..if ur in southern CA hit me up im selling one rigth now..if u need one
