I rarely get a chance to stop by and check in. I've been thumbing through pages and pages of people's posts, but missing a lot of stuff. Or a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense. Like awptickes getting blown by some blonde hussy. Doesn't compute.

It's all taken out of context.

I see some of your stuff on facebook - but even that piece of shit site is getting less and less screentime. The nice thing is, on facebook I've forgotten just about all of your handles.

    So what's been cooking ?

Running a computer shop since February this year. I don't own it, but things are coming along.

Final payment on my civic goes to the bank as soon as I get paid this month.

You think Jim Beam is decent?

My wife and I moved to California. I manage a small fabrication shop and she is an assistant manager at a Chase branch. Things are good.

I must have missed the Celerity got married thread. Was it to the young girl you were writing crazy poetry about?

I recommend you take some extra classes and keep milking that school thing. The job market is still pretty dismal...But of course best of luck to you.

Oh, I ducked out when this thing was just ramping up. Sorry to hear things went to shit. We should get caught up sometime on the Philosophy front.
Awesome.. Good to hear you're gainfully employed. Or at least, Employed.
Do these people KNOW what you used to do for a living ? It's gotta be a culture shock to you. Do you ever picture their houses blowing up ?
No, it was to a real girl. She's good for me. The other one is probably frozen to a sidewalk somewhere.
Never sell your CRX. Although, my CRX is available right now. For free. Come and take it. And I remember you. My god, 20k posts.. I think you people have earned a place seared into my memory.
We talk all the time. =)
I remember you had a job that was tits. Was it beer driving, then trolley operator or someshit ? And I didn't think you could get less pussy. I'll consult Cambridge University. They should have some sort of formula to work that out.
Yeah, Columbus Ohio is a shit pit. You remember my rant. If not, search it. Then compare notes with Injen.
Congrats on the engagement ! Make sure she's "the one". Because if not, you're in for a load of shit.
Hey man, it works. I was the youngest department manager in the history of Yale University. I didn't get there by playing by my own rules. And working for the worst bosses will only speed up the lesson-learning necessary to start your own business.

Seriously? What's wrong with it? I'd gladly take it off your hands.
Haha was never a beer driver. I was a "trolley" (light rail train) operator though. It was good money but hellish, shift work. Never saw a weekend, rarely saw my friends, and got almost zero pussy. I think I had sex once in the year period I was there.

Left in the Fall of 2009 to go to grad school. Went wild for a little while, as I had money in the bank and no job to give me regular hours. I was doing pretty well then. But now I serve table nearly full-time (30-40 depending on the week) and have school and the work that is associated with it. Even in "fun" college, I had peaks and valleys. Never could figure out the formula for consistency. But thank you for reminding me it has been much worse. While I was on the train it was a Death Valley type low.
I'm done with school. Honestly, I'm probably getting a job through my brother-in-law. A finance job he has with a Bachelor's in Political Science. My Master's, while not being needed for this, was always something I wanted to get. The dismal job market when I graduated last time, made it possible to get it right away. And when I look at my student loans compared to some of my friends, I'm way ahead already.
