this is the 3rd or 4th one saying AWD this year

hope it happens. since it is custom, why not do 4g63t awd? much more effective platform under there.

Widening or narrowing these rears is going to be a super big deal.
I would just buy a parts CRV and bolt the k-frame up, get a custom driveshaft (CT Driveshaft) and then weld up the new rear subframe to the Civic. It's easier.

my question is..... why build a awd b20 civic ? (which not even being a dick, 99% chance kid has no idea the ammount of fabrication, or has means too do soo) , sell the civic, 5-speed crv's are cheap, allready awd and 5 speed, allready b-series, and not really a large weight difference between the chassis's themselves. . . . above it all, dumped crv's look dope

my question is..... why don't you leave?

Welcome to HS and good luck with the build! Having a parts CR-V will definitely help. A Civic shell is in fact much lighter than that of a CR-V. Ignore the misinformation above... If you have the tools and the know-how this is totally possible - and will be really cool.

ha the crv shell - motor/trans and awd assembly , vs civic shell, the weight wouldnt be a big difference at all, and I know its possible, its been done

Well if that is the case then there must be NO logical reason to put an Integra engine in a Civic. Because, well, they weigh "almost" the same... :bash::ufucktard:
