What's your beater?

Well since, most (all) of you have never seen a post of mine, I just wanted to know what kind of shit box car you have that you can always rely on. Baicaly, my 86 nova (stand by) was deemed too expensive to repair, my 66 Impala is still waiting for paint and a radiator, and the 72 type I bug hasn't ran since Oct. (yet i'm still paying ins. on it) and my rex is still waiting for the engine transplant that has been sitting in by garage since june/03. \

I have been walking to work for (read: getting a ride most of the time) for four months and need to get another beater, so WHAT DO YOU HAVE?

I am not an English/grammer person...so please don't freak.

My cousin had a 2nd gen escort GT and it went pretty good, so thats a possibility....other than the fact than my Dad, Brother, and I have been rockin' the novas/corollas since I have been driving and have since run out of parts. Baisically, I'm looking for cars that a somewhat reliable and are a dime a dozen.

Maybe what I'm saying is a little misleading, --does anyone else do the thing where you buy one kind of older car that is somewhat reliable and just buy more of them for parts cause it;s cheaper?
My next choice is the 90ish geos and toyotas because they're fuel injected and somewhat the same as the older corolla's and nova's/

87 Honda accord, Well not anymore becasue I gave it to my grandfather but it used to be my beater, its dented, automatic and looks like shit. I told him I'd repair the body if he bought the parts.
