Now that you've said "beater" and posted a picture of your new LanEvo in the same post, Mitsubishi will now hunt you down and void your warranty.

Did you really buy one? Thats bad ass. I didn't even think you were looking at buying on. Well, have fun with her. Only problem the brakes are too good, thus your ass is going to hurt the first time you try and buy new rotors for it. Say good bye to the good old 19.99 autozone rotors.

yup, i have been planning on it for a few months and finally got the funds to do it. ya, i'm sure rotors are not so cheap anymore, the thing needs better pads though, my del sol stops better right now (she's on race pads though :p ) i think i'll get some ferodo's for it. i put up more pics in the auto-multimedia section if you would like to check it out.

Way to go Mike! Big brother is watching you, tho.

watching me do what? keep the car stock? the del sol is the perma-track car :)

to go back on topic for a moment: it WAS a 97 toyota 4 runner... non 4wd... 4 cyl....

BUT: i got the teggie back. so, i guess i'll be driving her thru the puddles... little ones... ;)

NOW... off topic: WTF mike. call me man... let's go do some donuts.... NOW.

evo's are ugly overpriced pieces of shit...

sorry, just jealous of your nice beater
lol

and :fuckyou2: :fuckyou3: to everyone who lives where they don't need a beater

beaters are the SHIT...
its nice to be able to drive something with no fear of scratching the paint or crinkling a fender or two...

my friend and I are looking to buy a "beater" for going off road and trail riding. we were looking at a 79 bronco ranger with a 460 big block in it, but it had too much rust. going to continue looking. we plan on fixing it up, putting a roll cage in it, 2 winches, a 8 inch lift, 38 inch tires, and some other stuff.

2 whinches why only need 1, 8 lift in a ford good luck torson bar suspension and if your gonna run 38's get pizza cutter and don't forget to weld up the rear diff and if you guys want a cheap and easy truck to build go with a suzuki samari the come geared at 2-1 in the t case and you can get 5.13 gears for the diffs for about 200 bucks front and rear.

Awesome purchase!! Welcome to the land of turbo AWD. You'll never go back. Make sure to keep us updated with mod status, etc.

Also, see my sig. You obviously purchased the car as a status symbol.

1995 Honda Civic Ex with sunroof :) I bought it off a computer nerd for 1K with 200,000 miles on it. 12,000 still no problems of note, I love the H.
