Hey 92 b16vx... "Wheel hop is your tires breaking and getting traction rapidly over and over cause the suspension components to move up and down" Its the other way around. The suspension is weak enough to flex either forward or backward enough to allow the wheel to travel up on a slant instead of putting the power on the ground. Causing the wheel to hop.
So what your saying is weak suspension causes it?, um no. Ford Escorts don't just have wheel hop, Civic VXs don't just have wheel hop. You drivetrain which is transferring power doesn't touch your suspension, except at the hubs. When you wheel spins and you don't get traction, it starts hopping, that's why when you use slicks, traction bars, and other parts to keep your wheels in contact with the ground it reduces hop, because the tires are being keep to the ground. Basically we are saying the same thing, just different ways.
