Sorry that this must look familiar, I just have to get it cleared up ASAP. I've been being told by shops about 50% of the time that 215/45's and 40 offset on my car will have rubbing problems (96-98 EJ, 16x7 rims +40 offset with 215/45 tires...). My car is lowered about 2.5 inches.

Should I get 45 offset and/or get 205/45's? Or will the 40 with 215/45's be fine.

Thank you. Sorry for bringing this topic up again...
