I have seen alot of civic's around the NHRA circuit running nice meaty slicks in the front... first of all, who makes a good slick for sport compacts, secondly what should I use for light, wide tires to hold the slicks and what should I do in the rear? Lastly, are wrinklewalls any good for imports, and does anyone make them? thanks a bundle.

PS someone told me to use very light alloys in the rear on drags, basically like a hotrod uses in the front, but the stock civic wheels are only 9.7 pounds, and it would cost me hundreds to get down to 8 pounds on some highend rims..... retain stock in the rear?

lenso VDP and M&H racemaster
slicks.

stock in the back is fine... a good tire with a lot of air pressure to fight the transition forces is good
