I bought a set of 1996 gsr rims (six spoke, non-saw blade) and they need new tires. I'd like to get Azenis, but Falken only makes a 205/50 for a 15" wheel. Their website says measuring rim width is 6.5", but it can fit on anything from 5.5 to 7.5. I took a tape measure to my rims, and the widest point on the lip is 7 inches. does this mean my rims are 15x7? or is there another way that rim width is measured? right now they hold Kumho ecsta 712s, size 195/50. Will the Azenis fit well?
