Where Can I Find This Part?

I'm looking for this part: the vtec solenoid gasket.

But all I've found is for earlier makes and models.

I need it for a 98 EX.

Here's the closest thing I've found:

Every search I do comes up with the spool valve filter.

is it possible to pull that from a used motor or does it need to be new? if you can i would hit up the local junk yards for the part. if not check all your back issues of honda tuning, your bound to find something there (works for me). heh heh. }=)

go to junk yard or make one out of high temp silicone, dont be scared to make something . goodluck

Thanks for the suggestions/ideas.

We ended up adding silicone rtv to the existing gasket - so far it's holding, but I still want to replace it.

I'll look into junkyards. btw - I called the local honda dealership, the guy in the parts dept had the spool valve filter, but the vtec solenoid gasket was not separate. it only came with the solenoid, i.e. $240. Ummmm......no.

No, not the one that bolts to the head. That's the 3-loop gasket with the wire mesh - you're talking about that one right? I'm talking about the two loop gasket between the solenoid and the spool valve. Where can I get that one?
