damn! im getting ready to buy another 1st gen civic, if i planned on keeping the stock motor id prob buy that in a heart beat! soooo nice. seems like no one keeps the stock motors any more now days though

Well, when used parts go for that much money and make half the power of a newer engine design, is it any wonder?

yup, the old engines are just out of date. no power, no parts, no use. specially when you can swap a 120 hp motor for WAAY less than 1500 bucks. shit i could prob swap a GSR in one of these for 1500 bucks and get 200 hp.

its sad, those old built motors are sooo freaking cool. but when it comes hp/money ratio... they old school just doesnt stand a chance
