which cam should i get......or should i keep my 99 si int cam and my gsr exh cam

$990 with valvetrain

also im looking into their spark plugs

IMO...when your going turbo, cams mean next to shit...stock b16 or gsr cams will be perfectly fine...as far as the valve train goes, i don't see the need to upgrade unless you are going past the stock redline

thats what i thought...its just the price is not bad..... and i do want to go with a little higher red line if the cams/turbo will make power

Actually, they mean quite a bit.

:shrug2:

I'm not too familiar with what's good for turbo cams... but if you want to save cash, stay stock. Otherwise, go for good lift numbers, slightly longer duration, and enough room to close your overlap.

use GSR cams. they are like 100 bucks... and with the right turbo, i've seen them keep a flat torque band all the way up to 9300rpm.

okay then ill look for the intake cam...i'm aready using a gsr exh cam. thanks...and for that rpm...all i'll need are the dual valve spring set/ retainers...ill know how far up im making power by the dyno...ive never heard of gsr cams making power that high...is it because of the turbo?

3rd one also has a home made manifold. that could very well be the cause.

those are impressive numbers. i wonder when the day comes for me, if my h23 will be able to make more than 600hp with the right setup. (more so than the 1.8liter will be able to put out).
