Which ecu for...

    96 civic 1.6 dx

    planning on doing a z6 or y8 head swap... or a d15vtec head, dont really care which. anyways.... my stock ecu OBVIOUSLY isn't goign to do it for me, so what ecu do yall reccomend?

    for now : n/a set up (boost somewhere down the road but not worried about it yet)
    mild mods... intake mani, b16 injectors + t/b, headers, intake, exhaust. Thinking about getting a mild cam for it but not sure about that yet.

    any help would be just peachy keen

    also (i know its kinda the wrong board but...)
    out of the z6 y8 and d15 vtec heads, which would you all reccomend for my d16y7 block?

    stock injectors (b-series are no bigger than D-series)

    96+ CX/DX/HX/LX injectors are 180cc... You will need to get EX or B series injectors...

    once you've decided which ecu & head you wanna go with, you're gonna have to perform some engine harness modifications to be compatible with a SOHC VTEC head, mainly, add VTEC wiring, knock sensor, & perform the IACV fix.
