which final drive 5th?

I was thinking about putting an HF 5th and final drive into a ZC tranny to give it some highway mileage, but I came acroos someone who said the integra LS final was even longer? I was just wondering if anyone knew which fifth and final would be best(longest) for an OBD0 ZC. THX

the b-series gears won't work in a d-series tranny case.

gear specs are in the reference section.

you can use a vx final drive. i thought that had the longest gearing.

FYI - 5th gear and final drive are not the same thing - final drive is the differential gearing which affects every gear

I think the CRX HF has a .694 5th and like 2.9 final drive.

You can't put anything from a B-series tranny into a D-series tranny, FYI

I just did some calculating and that combo should get you about 569 MPG. J/K. Holy shit-that's long gearing.

actually, the HFs had 3 different final drives:

KA models (everywhere except Calif and High Altitude) - 2.954:1

KL models (California) - 3.25:1

KH models (High Altitude) - 3.77:1
