Which Head Is Better On Hf?

i read the MAKING AN ALL MONSTER MOTOR HF or whatever...and im going to rip apart my hf engine this weekend because sumthin is messed up really bad (head gasket or fried piston) so i was wondering sinse im going to replace alot of stuff... which head is better? the forum says DX but i thought the Si was? but im not sure... well thanks

read the bottom paragraph. it says that if you are on less of a budget, to get Si parts and tranny too.

also, i've heard that the pistons need to be changed in order for this to work, due to the 8 valve reliefs. perhaps chet can answer that for you in more detial.

They are the same head, the cam and springs are different, but that's about it.
