Which Is Better?

    SHould i keep my oringal 1.6 v-tec in my 95 civic and turbo charge it, or should i just replace the motor with a b16a? Or is there a dual overhead cam head i can bolt on?

    You can't bolt a DOHC head to a SOHC block. If you have a hatch, a B16A is fine and dandy, if you have a coupe, I concur woith Milan on the 1.8

    For the money, turbocharging your stock engine will yield more power.

    If you want to spend more money later on, swap and then upgrade when you have more cash.

    I know that this gets thrown around some with turbo-ing the D series and swapping in a nice B series. I think if you swap in the GSR then you get good oem power and it leaves the door open to other decisinos down the road. He might consider that he would like to supercharge or turbo or even all motor. I just think it's a better starting point with dual cams, vtec, and more displacement, not saying that the D series can't make power bc they can...
