how about an OBD I P72- call me crazy, but why not use the ECU that belongs with the motor?

if you're going to ditch the secondaries and get a skunk2 or other intake manifold, the you could use a P28 that is chipped or reprogrammed

or get the P28 converted to run the secondaries. Is your GSR motor OBD1 or OBD2?

either a P72 oem ecu or a P28 with the GSR map........whichever is cheaper.
