If your for moderate boost i'd say go for oem but at the same time ACL's are good qualitly. I voted ACL, you can get them at a pretty good price from kteller.com

What do you mean clearances ??? I am going to buy a Helm to help me out when I tear down the engine, just looking for info in the mean time.

Yes one size does NOT fit all. Go off the #s stamped on the block and crank or use Plastigauge if you want to be really anal. The helms has a chart, where you look up the block and the crank #s and get the correct bearing color.

It should be more like.... Use the chart if you're lazy, and use Plastigage if you want to get it right.

i agree with cal, its not being anal. its doing it the right way.

I figured I was just being super OCD like I usually am lol, but yes you are right it is 100% the proper way to go. Chances are you will end up with 4 yellows and 4 greens, but best to be 100% sure.
