When the engines out, im gonna convert over to manual steering. Will any anual rack from a 5th gen civic work? And should i get the tie rods for that rack also?

This is for a 93 del Sol.

dont swap out to a manual ract ... the manual steering rack has a slower turning ratio

just loop the PS rack its really easy to do and works quite well

:werd: There are kits out there that come with all the parts and looks almost OEM

the itr rack is the closest manual rack available, but its a bitch and 7/8'ths tio replace with a motor in the car... frankly, i wouldn't even consider it.

just loop it

By loop it you mean, take the return line and run it back into where the pressure line would go, and remove the pump etc...? Leaving just the fluid in the rack and calling it a day?

thanks B, those three threads clear up alot.

my powersteering is looped, i love it. g/f hates it when parking the car though, lol
