I'm not an active memeber on this site, but looks as though theres tons of info on here......i dont have time for a search right now, but my mother wrecked her 99 accord yesterday and i was wondering if you could tell me which motor she has, its a 1999 4 cyl vtec
 
thanks guys, is this motor desirable for the "import guys"?, sorry i'm not really into the imports, i'm deal with mostly domestic.

swap a h22 in that bitch and watch it fly! :lol:
 
F23A1 if you want to get technical.

And no, it's not a very desirable engine. Single cam, 155 horsepower, about 157 ft-lbs (I think). The only way to make it fast is to turbo it, and that's a bitch.

As stated above, an engine swap is the best bet.
 
ok got ya.....i was wondering because the car is totaled and if the motor was desirable i was going to buy it back from the insurance company, but not anymore, dont want a soccermom motor, thanks....later.
