Just wondering which size tires would be better with a 15x6.5 rim?

205/50/15 or 195/50/15

This is just for everyday driving. I'm trying to decide on which one I should get.
Thanks for the help.

:werd: to the 195/50/15

pick up some Toyo T1-S rubber
its the best stuff for that width if you changed to 15x7 wheel you would have WAY more choices

ummmm yeah.... im gunna have to go ahead and disagree on that.... theres fuck loads of 195/50/15s out there many are MUCH better than the toyos

like........ what?????

no azenis sports
no parada spec deux
no yokohoma es100
no yoko AVS sports
no toyo RA-1s
no toyo FZ-4s

i think nitto makes a NT450 for em if im not mistaken but other than that would be news to me

ES100's come in 195/50/15's....
Potenza S-03's come in that size too...
Dunlop SP 5000's also...
Bridgestone Potenza RE750
Goodyear Eagle F1
Dunlop SP Sport 9000...

According to TireRack.com.com, lots of good tires come in that size. And that's JUST from TireRack.com. They don't carry Toyo, Nitto, or a few other excellent tire brands.

What are you smokin? ;)

:withstupid:

also:
the Toyo FZ4 comes in that size
the Toyo Proxes 4 comes in that size

the RA-1s are a competition tire and are WAY too soft for daily driving (youll get about 1000 miles on them tops)

the Yokohama AVS sports and Parada spec-2s dont even come in a size for 15s... so those arent even worth mentioning in this discussion

so ill say again ..... there are fuck loads of tires out there in the 195/50/15 size

so the sacrifice in total sectional width is worth the even sidewall loading?

just wondering cause i have 205's on my rota's and they haven't been bad, although they don't really grip (all season tires suck).

looks like i didnt do that much of my homework

i wouldnt get Potenzas, they chunk really bad, and dont grip for shit

the ES100s are tight, havent fooled around with them much yet, they are a little loud but not bad compared to the azenis sport.

i forgot to check, does advan make any rubber for 195/50/15????
