Sure there is. Murphy's Irish Stout is better than Guiness. Youngs Oatmeal Stout is better than Guiness. Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout is Better than Guiness

Damn I'm gettin shafted here casue I've never seen those around CT at all. only Samuel Smith's but it really hard to find.

I agree Tsing Tao is great chinese beer
Peroni is a nice beer as well

rather than a name brand, I love stouts (dark beer), or IPA (bitters).

You need to try Murphy's. It is really really good. If you like British beer try Tetley's and Wexford's. Both are outstanding. Tsing Tao is pretty good. Kirin is also good if you like Asian beer.

The In Heat Wheat was the only really good beer from the Flying Dog Brewery. The rest was meh.

For me its all about Newcastle, or if the mood stikes me a Tetley's which is a british beer but its great, hard to find but good.

Tetley's owns. We have several bars/pubs around here that have it on tap, and it's damn near heavenly.

St. Pauli girl is the ONLY type of beer i can drink.

the american beer makes me sick to my stomach,
corona is mexican piss water
and that sake junk......yuck.

i really like the expensive imported beers from germany and that area.
i personally think it is worth it to spend the extra few dollars on getting a
quality brew.

of course in my younger not-give-a-fuck alcoholic days,
my beer of choice was KEYSTONE ICE.
bar none, the cheapest best tasting beer ever.

it had the blue liner in the can and just tasted good!!!!

only prob. is that my bar tabs tend to run into the triple digits if im takin a chick out on a date
