yes it will fit, the harness is prettymuch plug and play (i think, not sure on the S, but on the SI it is) you may have to move a mount cause the f22 sits differently from the h22/h23

a lot of people go to club240.com for nissan stuff (i assume your asking about 240s).

as for the h22 in a prelude s, if you get the complete change over from hmotorsonline.com, you will have everything you need. You have to modify the transmission mount, but other than that, its a direct drop in.

Oh yeah, itd probably be easier to install if you take the fuel rail off the F22 and install it onto the H22 (with the injectors that came with the H22). The stuff you get from hmotorsonline is JDM, so the fuel line connector is on the wrong side.

Also, you will have to run the two wires for vtec, one wire for the vtec ground, the one wire for the knock sensor (make sure to use shielded wire) and the wire for the IABs (optional, but recommended). The reason for this is that the harness you get from hmotorsonline.com will be cut at the firewall, so you will need to use the one in your prelude now and then add those 4 wires to it.

Cant think of any other rubs that go along with this swap. I will say, go ahead and do the wiring once the engine is out, then tape them to the windshield or something. Its much easier than trying to fish them out with a coat hanger or something later.

Thought of something else. The distributor on the F22 has an external coil, id recommend leaving the h22 dizzy on there and using it, but it does require a little more wiring. Basically what youll do is take the yellow/black wire from the coil plug (id recommend just using tapping into it by plugging a female spade connector into that side of the plug) and splicing it into the yellow wire on the distributor. That will give the internal coil power and allow you to actually start your new engine.

After youve got all that done, id recommend (and so does hmotorsonline) changing your timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Remember, that since this is a JDM engine, some things will not be listed as original equipment (like the cap and rotor). You will need to get the cap and rotor for a 1996 Honda Accord 2.3 VTEC.

After all that, you should be good to go.

would it be possible to get the whole swap printed out, including all the modifications such as the transmission mount, to do a swap project at a school?
