Will b16 cams run in a ZC?

Hello,

Is it even possible for a ZC to run on a b16 cam? Im afraid i've bought a CRX with a ZC that is running a b16! It smells super rich but my 88 teg computer throws up no codes. The guy I bought it off said the stock cams were put back but the cam gears are the b16s.

Car blows no smoke or anything and I drove it home.

B-series camshafts are about 2 inches longer than the ZC head and won't fit

it looks like b16a cam gears on there though... im not sure if the amount of teeth is different than a ZC? someone on here should know.

it does have B16 gears on it and they will work on the DOHC ZC (both have 34 teeth) - the B16 exhaust cam gear doesn't have the timing mark in the right location for the ZC - the ZC mark is one tooth above the B16 mark, like this:
