My coil blew on me this past weekend 
. Unable to find a honda coil, i went to Canadian tire and bought a super coil and a coil wire. I extended the power wires for the coil outside of the distributor, through the cap and into the super coil. after modifying the distributor cap, i was able to wire in the coil wire externally. Everything starts and runs fine, but someone mentioned frying my ignition module to me. Is this true? Ive driven 150 miles so far sans problem, but will this last or should i go out and spend the money on the honda coil and put it all back together properly?
If i can find a digi cam ill post a pic of the setup
