Well, after all the bullshit troubleshooting, it turns out to be something that I, nor anyone else, would have ever thought..........


A fucking ground. That's right, apparently the engine wasn't grounded well enough, and after a year decided it didn't want to start anymore.

people quessed ground just not the right one.. salt and corrosion cause this especially on 14 yo cars !

with a bad battery conenction my Head Unit still works, but the second i turn the key, it all goes south.

Ground from the battery to the tranny. I did check them, to make sure they are good. You could not have known it was bad unless you tested the current through it.

gotcha. I thought it was either disconnected or corroded.
