Will this motor work in my del sol?

My buddy has a totaled 2003 Civic Ex with a D17A2 in it. He wants me to buy the motor and tranny, will this set-up be easy to put in my car? Mine is an OBD1 and his is an OBD2. Can anyone help me with this question?

how much does he want to sell you the set up for?? i'm guessing it isn't worth your time

My Del Sol has a d16z6 and he wants a grand for the whole setup.

tell your friend to suck it, first off you don't need an obd2 engine, they're hard to work with, and second its practically the same motor you already have in there, it makes the same amout of power, unless you wanna swap it for the lesser miles or something, but if you do decide to buy it and swap it in it'll fit right in place of the motor you already have, oh and on a last note 1000 is a little much for that whole swap

d17 sucks. don't bother they are actually worse than the d16
