I am wondering if an automatic tranny from a 97 civic with a d16 auto tranny fit my 92 civic with a d15b7. Thanks in advance.

Yes it will. But it may have a few connectors that are different than yours. Get one from a 92-95 civic

Yes itll work, all you need is the backup switch from the 97' tranny.

And then just splice into the backup switch.

He said an auto tranny not a stick. Auto trannies are more involved and harder to swap
