Fortunately the tip of mexico will weaken it, at least temporarily. As long as it doesn't pick too much momentum back up over the gulf (which it probably will) then it shouldn't be too terrible.

I'm sick of hurricanes.. Can we get a volcano or something in here??? We haven't had a good eruption in a while.

i look on the bright side though:

hurricane parties, beter get the liquor before they jack up the prices
 
I wish it had stayed true to course and piled into LA

I don't have anything against the place, but I do have something against dumb assholes rebuilding it in the same place using my tax dollars :p
