so about a month ago something went wrong on my computer
i think a new update of a tax program fucked my registry in the ass
ran win2k restore utility or some shit off the cd
got the computer back up and running

now i have a problem
i use ntbackup to save all tax/network files to an external hard drive
the backup got fucked up and it won't let me change it, so i created a new one
problem is i can't delete the old backup from the scheduled tasks
so i have a worthless backup trying to run everyday
when i go into the backup program most things are shaded grey

i also have other problems, like norton doesn't work anymore, and a few other programs needed to be reinstalled to get them working right

any ideas on fixing ntbackup.exe?
i tried to just reinstall it off the win disk but it says i have programs that weren't fully installed, reboot and let them finish then retry the disk, and i've tried this several times with no luck

bad time of year to go messing with that
i can't delete the task but i found a way around it

i made it run only one time and then selected the delete if not scheduled to run again

so its gone now
should get me through april 15th
