    me either. i couldnt connect so i went to winmx.com to do some investigating and seen the site was down so i googled up some info and saw that link so that told me why i couldnt connect to winmx.

    i use that too. but there are some times when i wanna get just 1 or 2 songs instead of whole albums

    WinMX and eDonkey.com, who , what, that's so 90's.

    p2p networks died years ago.

    IRC and torrent is were it's at.

    yeah eff most of that p2p, Bit Torrent for life, then if that fails irc, and then if I am really desperate limewire.

    I use bit torrents for movie, software and albums, and if i cannot find them there i use ares and limewire. But honestly i havent downloaded much of anything lately.

    p2p is 90's but IRC is the new way to go?

    sorry buddy, IRC was old to me before p2p programs were ever introduced

    I've had WWAAAYYY more luck on e-donkey (for software stuff) than bit torrent. Quite frankly, I hate bit torrent and find it utterly useless. Maybe it's just the nature of the stuff I'm looking for (audio plugins for Apple), but e-donkey was home to way more rare shit. I'm really bummed about that one. :cry2:

    Well im a pretty hefty torrent/irc user, but limewire has been good to me. only recently have i had any problem DLing stuff....oh well, i guess i should probably lay off the porn.
